We had an interesting last week...and primary season...with Keith and Tweetie working the nights. The expectations for these two for the GOP lovefest were high
However...TVNewser is reporting that Keith is back in New York as the breaking news anchor being replaced by David (can't dance) Gregory for the convention.
Is KO being held back because of all the stuff that happened during the coverage last week such as the comments with Joe Scarborough and the shovel?
Is the feeling that the abbreviated convention is a non story and that KO would be better off in NYC?
Was this Keith's choice?
MSNBC has also announced that Keith Olbermann will not be co-anchoring MSNBC's prime time RNC coverage from St. Paul. David Gregory will now co-anchor with Chris Matthews. But the programming schedule is still not set, and dependent on what Gustav does the rest of the day. Olbermann will be back at MSNBC HQ as prime time breaking news anchor.
